Customer Service

Being able to provide a professional standard of customer service is of key importance to a variety of job roles. Opps offers the following National Vocational Qualifications in Customer Service accredited by Edexcel:

Level 2 Customer Service

Designed for staff who interact directly with customers this NVQ includes two mandatory units and five optional units. The mandatory units are:

  • Prepare yourself to deliver good customer services
  • Provide customer service within the rules

Optional units are grouped into themes covering Impression and Image, Delivery, Handling Problems and Development and Improvement.

Level 3 Customer Service

Designed for those who deliver and monitor customer service and those who may be in charge of a team, this NVQ includes two mandatory units and six optional units. The mandatory units are:

  • Understand customer service to improve service delivery
  • Know the rules to follow when developing customer service

Optional units are grouped into the same themes as for level 2.

Candidates attend Opps workshops or one to one tutorials to build their portfolio and are provided with an experienced assessor and extensive learning materials to support their learning.

Opps is a recognised provider under the "Train to Gain" programme. Full funding for level 2 NVQs and part funding for level 3 NVQs may be available under this programme.
